Thanks again to Malachi Ward for posting my comic on letswatchstartrek.com. I thought I’d post the original here as well as the sketch that led to it.

..It pours. In addition to being a part of A Curious Happening group show on Friday November 2nd (Click HERE for details,) I’ll also be showing a painting in a group show fundraiser for Blackstar Development.
The Fundraiser is on Saturday, November 10th 6-9 pm at 1001 Tennessee St. Click HERE for a blurb about other artists showing that night. If you are in the bay area for either or both of these events, come on out and have a drink with me!
I’m very excited to announce that I’ll be participating in a group show called A Curious Happening. In addition to some older, larger work, I’ll have about 4 new paintings ready to go. Please come out and have a drink at the opening with me! Friday, November 2nd, 6-9 at Wix Lounge 2601 Mission St. @ 22nd / 3rd floor.
This is the first of a few paintings I’m putting together for APE, East Bay Alternative Press Zinefest, and the holiday season in general. It’s Gouache on wood and covered with Polyurethane.
I’m pretty excited to have my cover of Albedo #3 appear on the Coveredblog today! Thanks to Robert Goodin for posting and hosting Covered. This has been a favorite cover of mine, ever since I picked it up back in the 80s at Bosco’s Comics in Anchorage, Alaska.
The original by Steve Gallacci:
My take on Steve’s classic cover:
Milk and Carrots 2 is complete! This comic anthology featuring the work of Malachi Ward, Matt Sheean, Jen Oaks, James the Stanton, Josh Birdsall, Bussan 33, Melissa Geppert, Christopher Gray and myself is in print and fantastic (in my humble opinion.) Malachi Ward made the brilliant cover, featuring characters from each story. Josh Birdsall made the awesome back cover. It’s 40 pages long and full of good stuff. There is truly something for everyone. This is the kind of book I look for when I’m in search of an indie comic with lots of meat to it. It’s debuting at Stumptown today! Malachi Ward and James the Stanton will have copies at their table. If you can’t make it there, contact the artists or pick it up for the Store on this website.
